For ottende år i træk afholder Niels Bøje Ziegler magasindesign konferencen med internationale designere som talere.

Konferencen afholdes tirsdag den 8. november kl. 9:00 – 16:45 på Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole, Emdrupvej 72, 2400 København NV.

Fokus på samarbejdet mellem designere og redaktion.

Konferencens pris er kr. 1995,00 eksklusiv moms.

Vanessa Holden is a creative director and brand strategist with over 18 years experience in lifestyle publishing, marketing and branding. As an award-winning creative she is know for her simple and sophisticated approach to visual storytelling. In February 2011 she left MSL to be the senior vice president and creative director at West Elm.
10:35-11:25: Bianca Wendt · Bianca Wendt Studio, London
Bianca Wendt runs a small studio overlooking Smithfield market in London. She is a graphic designer and art director, working on a variety of projects for cultural, arts and fashion clients across different media including books, magazines, newspapers, identities, stationery, exhibition design and websites.
Bianca is the art director of The London Fashion Week Daily, Viewpoint magazine and RUBBISH magazine. RUBBISH magazine is a limited edition hardback fashion magazine that aims to take a more lighthearted and sometimes satirical look at the world of fashion.

11:45-12:35: Robert Priest and Grace Lee · Priest+Grace
Priest+Grace is a design company dedicated to improving the relationship between brands and people. They don't believe that beauty has to be expensive. But they do believe that it has to be beautiful.
They create new ideas and strategic innovations for your digital, print or environmental projects. One of their last projects was the re-design of O, the Oprah Magazine for both print and iPad. (From Priest+Grace website)

13:35-14:25: Jennifer Pastore · Photo Director, TeenVogue
»I manage the photo department, oversee shoots, and work with my staff and editors to hire the best photographers for our stories. I also meet with photographers and visit galleries and museums to see as many images as possible and find new talent.

+2 designers is a graphic design studio, located in Lisbon. The studio was founded in 2006 by Raquel Porto and Vasco Colombo. About UP magazine: »Evoking the spirit in a single image of a city, region or country, this is the challenge that we found each month on the covers of UP, the inflight magazine of TAP Portugal.
Being a publication aimed to a very wide audience, with many cultural backgrounds, we always start from some recognizable element of the chosen destination, creating an image with a very strong concept and impact. The productions are generally quite complex and involve participation of a large team whose coordination of the creative designers +2 is an important factor for the outcome«.
